Job Description

Marketing Assistant 2 Location Bellevue, WA (Lake Hills area) :

Nextant is looking for our next Marketing Assistant 2 to join our client team. This role will be part of the broader content marketing team, so the individual will need to work closely with numerous other teams and stakeholders to deliver best-in-class social content across many products and advertising solution areas.

You'll process an average of 10-15 content requests per week, update the editorial calendar (shared weekly with 4 teams: brand, product, paid media, analytics), and schedule posts across 3 core platforms. You'll contribute to 1-2 new content pieces per week, help with monthly reporting, and ensure deadlines and approvals are met without delays. The role supports the growth of key social channels, measured by engagement and alignment with product milestones.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Content coordination: With minimal supervision, this individual will manage social media requests from stakeholders across the advertising organization. They will ensure each post includes all required components — copy, design, tracking codes, etc. For each new social request, they will manage the ticket via ADO and, once approved, schedule posts in Sprinklr. They should be familiar with various content types (e.g., static posts, video, carousel).
  • The ideal candidate has a strong background in written communication.
  • They should feel comfortable both writing and reviewing social copies specific to each major social media platform.
  • As they collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization on creation, organization, and measurement, they will work directly within our brand marketing team to ensure all content is aligned with brand guidelines, social tone of voice (TOV), and integrated campaigns.
  • Calendar management: The marketing assistant will also keep our content calendar up to date and organized. They'll maintain an organized flow of assets and approvals between various content and creative agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • They should feel comfortable managing conflicting priorities from various stakeholders to adjust the social content calendar to reflect the needs of the business.
  • Measurement: The marketing assistant will prepare monthly and ad-hoc (often even recap) reports of channel performance and suggest ways to improve our social content and community management based on the data. They will regularly track metrics like follower growth, engagement rate, and engagement volume.
  • The ideal candidate should be eager to track industry wide social trends to influence how we test and iterate our content to continually refine our performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications, or related field 2+ years public relations, marketing, community management, social media management, or communications experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 overall years of experience in the field.
  • Must have strong understanding of social media channels - LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube; product-relevant industry experience (e.g., gaming, entertainment); B2B social media experience.
  • Minimum 2 years managing multiple social media channels/managing social media calendar
  • Minimum 2 years' experience writing social media content
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with channel performance reporting
  • Strong writing skills, editing experience.
  • Disqualifiers: Candidates with NO social media experience will not be eligible for the role.

This is a fully remote position.

Pay Rate:

The annual salary range for this position is $55,000 - $61,000 in Washington State. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline. Nextant considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, and other market and business considerations when extending an offer.
